QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIRED
Quantity Surveyor in North East to join a well established Groundwork contractor, delivering both commercial and residential projects.
The Role
A knowledgeable Quantity Surveyor with previous experience of working on Groundwork contracts ensuring that all works are in line with project budget, maximising cash flow and increasing profit margins wherever possible.
DUTIES
Monthly progress reporting.
Prepare cost/value reconciliation.
Assess, approve and deliver project variations to the client.
Budget preparation/Cost reporting/ Contract agreement.
Implementation and management of budget and cost control processes.
Review, mitigate and remove commercial and contractual risks.
Increase gross margin/maximise cash flow and profitability wherever possible.
Lead, manage and motivate the commercial team.
Knowledge of NEC Contracts would be preferential.
